Responding to Global Humanitarian Crises

235 million people will need humanitarian assistance in 2021 – a 40% increase over 2020, almost entirely attributable to the impact of COVID-19. This session will discuss addressing the root causes of crises and fragility, deepening local engagement in humanitarian crises, increasing interagency coordination, and investing in better data on humanitarian and conflict prevention efforts.
