Frequently Asked Questions

GENERAL EVENT INFORMATION

USGLC’s Impact Forum is an annual event that brings together leaders from across the country — including business, nonprofit, faith, agriculture, veteran, and national security communities — for high-level conversations on America’s global leadership, followed by meetings on Capitol Hill.

Each year, the Forum convenes some of America’s most influential state and local leaders to Washington, D.C. to learn from top policymakers, national security experts, and industry leaders about the global issues shaping our economy and national security. Participants gain valuable insights into how U.S. international engagement — including diplomacy, development, and global partnerships — directly impacts communities and businesses across the country.

Just as importantly, the Impact Forum provides an opportunity for these leaders to raise their collective voice on Capitol Hill. Participants meet directly with members of Congress and their staff to share perspectives from their states and communities, reinforcing the importance of strong American leadership in the world.

By bringing together diverse voices from across the country, the Impact Forum helps ensure policymakers hear a powerful, unified message from leaders outside Washington about why international engagement and leading globally matters locally."

The Impact Forum will take place in Washington, D.C. on:

Tuesday, June 2, 2026

Location details, room assignments, and final programming information will be shared in advance of the event.

There is no registration fee to attend the Impact Forum, though the event is by invitation only.

Business attire is recommended for all programming, including Capitol Hill meetings.

We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and garments suitable for frequent metal detector screenings while entering House and Senate office buildings on Capitol Hill Day.
